This was the first trophy to be created, it was originally silver but no pictures are available for this. The trophy consisted of the original widget ball on top of a candle holder and a christmas decoration.

The following year a candle holder base was added and the whole trophy was sprayed silver the original trophy was just placed on the top.

As you can just about see, in the 3rd year a black marble base was added to the trophy along with brass goalposts and a net. The trophy was sprayed gold and engraving was added saying 'The Widget Championship' on one side and on the reverse a picture of a dog saying 'Widget' underneath.

Currently the trophy has been painted in cream emulsion and decorated with glittery stars and cotton wool. The net has also been removed.
