The Rules Of the Widget Championship

There should be TWO identical goals
They should be the HEIGHT of a tall beer can
They also should be the WIDTH of the same beer can.
However many players are taking part a DRAW out of a hat must take place after each round.
If there is an ODD amount of people the player to be drawn out last will AUTOMATICALLY be given a BYE to the next round.
The Person drawn out of the hat FIRST in the tie will be the player to have the FIRST shot at the opponent's goal.
There should be a minimum of ONE referee to watch the current match, any decisions made by that person is final.
Alternate shots must be taken at ALL TIMES.
The first player to reach 3 GOALS is the winner.
Every player must have at least 3 SHOTS at the goal.
If, in the unlikely event, the scores are tied at 3 goals each after 3 shots each there will be a sudden death shoot out. The first person to score once the other player has missed becomes the winner.
The player can only put one hand in the goal and use two fingers as if they were legs.
A miss flick of the ball counts as one shot (i.e if a player takes a flick at the ball and it hardly moves it counts as a shot).
When the trophy is presented to the winner it must be PRESENTED by the PREVIOUS winner if there was one.
When the winner of the Widget Championship receives the trophy at the end of the tournament they will have to add their own personal touches to it for the following year's tournament.
