John has taken part in four of the Widget Championships but did not come close to actually winning it until he beat Paul in the 2005 final. In a close fought contest John beat Paul 3-2 with the tie swinging in each player's direction. John is the lastest person to 'pimp up' the Championship trophy. At the moment, the current trophy is how John decided he wanted it to look.
